Hi people, I'm new in here and I thought I'd write a little hello
message.
I'm a relative prog newbie, but I've fixed in here in the hope of finding
new bands that I might like. I got into prog through Marillion, who I
still rank as just about my favourite band, and also like Jethro Tull,
Fish, Pink Floyd, and Rush (even though I don't think Rush are very
prog). I'm currently searching for early Genesis and Yes stuff, but it's
on hold atm until I go back to work next week. Some Internet friends are
desperately trying to persuade me to go to a Porcupine Tree gig which is
on near here soon, but I've never heard any of their stuff before.
I've hardly heard of any of the bands you discuss, but I'll look out for
them and see if I find anything I like!
