Mine, a '76 vintage pickup/slide-in model had the two-way 'fridge.  When
we were running down the road, it operated on the 12v truck system.
Once parked, we'd switch over to propane, fire up the burner, and cool
away.  Kept ice in the freezer (about one glass full) either way.
It always baffled me how that thing could make ice from a flame... :)
