Hey.
Well, I found the new Spirit _Mercury Years_ double CD at the used
polycarbonate emporium the other day...
The first disc consists of 90% or so of _Spirit of 76_, and the
second disc is selections from the next three LP's, _Son Of
Spirit_, _Farther Along_ and _Future Games_.  _FA_ had all the
original members except Jay Ferguson on it, but the others are
more or less Randy California albums with father-in-law Ed Cassidy
on drums.  Pretty good stuff.
Also got the first album from _Flash_.  I'd forgotten Tony Kaye
played on this album.  Always liked "Small Beginnings".  I can't
remember exactly why I got rid of the vinyl...  At the time, I
must've thought it was just an inferior Yes clone.  For some
reason, it doesn't sound so inferior anymore.  Go figure.
If anyone wants the second Pavlov's Dog on CD, I can get it to ya
for $8 plus tax and shipping.  Already having it on vinyl, I couldn't
quite justify the expense personally...  _At The Sound Of The Bell_.
