| subject: | OS/2 API calls using C |
> I was wondering if any of you had info on OS/2 API calls , I mainly > interested in the PM side of the calls ie WinCreateStdWindow and so on.. If you're using EMX, it comes with a header file and library for all the standard OS/2 calls. Absolutely free. If you want the official documentation on them, you need the developer's toolkit. You can get the latest version on the "developer's connection CD-ROM", published quarterly (available via subscription or in idividual issues.) it's a 3 CD set that contains an unbelieveable amount of stuff (sample code out the wazoo, betas of new things...) The developer's toolkit is on disk 1. It contains documentation to the presentation manager, the workplace shell, and kernal API calls. It also contains SOM documentation and a stripped down version of the SOM toolkit. (SOM and DSOM, but not some of the advanced frameworks. No big loss if you ask me.)
