Last night one of my shelties, Misty died.  I was with her and she
didn't suffer.  We thought she just had arthritis beacuase of her age so
we were shocked when she faded so fast. We now think she had cancer.
She was a really good at the ranch or just about anywhere we took her.
We did things with her like took her on a seven mile hike and after the
first time the horses passed us we no longer bothered to put her leash
on her. Misty was of the opionion that the leash was an insult and we
hurt her feelings every time she had to wear it.
