Michael,  One of the things that these programs don't take into account
is the actual physical damage (skirt belling) that happens to pellets
shot from short pulse or higher powered Airguns.  The percentage of
retained energy can go down from 95.5% to even lower than 92% for the
same pellet.  This means that a pellet can leave the muzzle much faster
but arrive down range much slower.  In other words...You can spent a lot
of time making your Airgun shoot worse.
