AsyncPro (trial) can be found on www.tpower.com. It's really good and easy to 
use component library. Latest 2.10 revision supports Delphi 1.x, 2.x, 3.x.
MSCOMM is simple component but You can do a lot.
You can also use TAPI or WinAPI (CreateFile etc, look at 
www.microsoft.com/msdn).
