That title and program description don't sound familiar at all.
I believe that Diane Carroll was the first black female to star
in her own network show, but she didn't play a maid. Seems to
me that she was the widow of an air force officer, working in a
doctor's office. I don't recall any interracial dating.
In the show you mentioned, was this a romantic kiss between two
adults as opposed to an adult giving a child a kiss on the
cheek? (I don't consider the Trek kiss romantic or erotic in
that it was compelled by outside forces, but at least Kirk and
Uhura were adults.)
