GH>You can use the zip/unzip utility, which creates !2 files, in 4 parts,
GH>which keeps the directory + BAM intact, then use an ARC utility to link
GH>them all up into one file.

Yep, I know. That's exactly why I said its a pain! (: But still, we can be
thankfull we -do- have the ability to do it, even if it is a complicated
& slow process..

GH>Well, something like this would be nice, but don't forget the single
GH>drive users. You would need to be able to do disk swaps, and also be
GH>able to use two drives as well if you have them.

Of course! It will be able to be used with 1 or more drives, & the
file it creates can be saved to anything (1581, hd etc). This may be
necesary, as a full disk will create a file about 680 blocks, but
compression will hopefully fix this. It will also look at the bam, &
only save the blocks that are actually used, so that shouldnt be too much
of a problem..
I've got to finish my current demo first tho... Arrhh.. so many things to
do, so much time, but so little inspiration...

GH>He He! Ok ok, dial 02-418-8750, logon as guest, and download all the
 GH>necessary info files, and enjoy!

Yep, have done that. I didnt realise its run by an old bbs mate of mine
(well actually his brother), Simon Rumble. Will apply soon, I assume there
is file access etc? (I know zip about internet..)
GH>Hey! I need some new stuff back to get my trading back up to its
 GH>*elite* level. ;-)

Haha, yeah sure (: Well I did a big send a month or so ago & have
about 9 replies back, so I can send you some of that stuff if ya like

ES> btw, Giorgio has now joined Menace - what are you doing?
