As you may know, BeOS has an option to change the system-wide primary
shortcut key from its default  to . This poses a
further problem because if I leave it at its default setting, the
 keys work most of the time but the
 keys don't but if I change it to , the
 keys work most of the time but the
 keys don't. Considering that timEd uses the
 key most of the time, I've changed the system-wide primary
shortcut key to  and I'll take things from there.
