... that does give me a pointer. Might be possible to start timED with a
batch file that would export a fresh version of the squish.cfg every time
timED was started. I'll check into that.

That gets too complex for me, particularly since it's not just a question
of the file names in the configuration, but of the actual names of the
files themselves. And I don't want to start changing the names of the
message base files... if I had considered that an option, I would have done
it long ago, but I hate to change a well-running system at this point.
