Just for shits and giggles, try removing the box character on the 80th column,
24th row.

If that doesn't work, you can always use (pipe)[X01 in that same position to
move the cursor back to the first column.

Then again, it would be nice if you didn't have to do that, either. It is the
only BBS software I know of that won't let you use the last character on the
24th line or it scrolls up a line when the BBS displays it.
