Yes - I heard (via newsgroups) that some old accounts were allowed, and I
must be in that category because at work OE can access my two Hotmail
accounts. The newsgroup posts claimed that one reason the OE access was
removed for newer accounts was spam abuse.

Ahh - thanks. I'll investigate.

OK - I might break down and pay. I use two accounts - one slightly serious,
and one for mailing lists, so I'll have to find out what "linked to a
paid one" involves.
