A co-worker of mine mentioned the other day that he used to have four CoCo 2s,
all linked together (via RS-232, I suppose) running custom chat software around
1990. I never got the chance to ask him if he managed to hold on to the
machines. I bought a CoCo 1 at a thrift store a few years ago but I couldn't
justify keeping it at the time.
