It's worth having IMO but very very similar, like the two
could be a double album.

Nix. "A proud but meaningless association." They were
(are?) and Detroit area band from late 80's early 90's. I
recently got a copy of the CD by them mentioned in the
GEPR, which says they are influenced by 80's Crimso and
early Genesis, which I can see, but I see also a sound
very similar to Echolyn (with better lyrics, tho) mixed
with Rush (the good parts), Genesis, Crack the Sky and a
bit of XTC (aren't they off topic? ). I know you
would like them.
I found a mailorder place that has a elf-titled album by
Granfalloon and I was hoping I could find someone to tell
me if it's worth having before sending off the cash.
Cheers,
Kenneth
