How often do you come across kids who have been diagnosed with ADHD but
are really bipolar? I have a friend who is ADHD and has 2 kids also
diagnosed and she was telling me that her psychiatrist thinks her kids
are bipolar and not ADHD, also she was reading an article he gave her
and it sounds just like the child i described to you in my last letter.
He was telling her that they are finding a large number of mis-
diagnosed children that are on Ritalin who really should be on Mellaril
or another med that escapes my mind right now, have you heard anything
about this?
Thanks
Beth
