And there's another factor - speed.
For instance, if you wanted a really secure house, you could have steel
shutters over every window, 5 locks on the front door, etc, but it would take
half an hour to lock up just because you popped out to the shops to get a
packet of fags!
Similar sort of thing with viruses - you can't really expect people to run
virus scanners that much if it takes hours to scan a HD.
And then what about TSR performance?
