Concerning _Pack-in Profits_, Rodney Rudd said to Troy H. Cheek in ATARI_ST:
TH>> own them free and clear, and would have to pay out to Llamasoft or
TH>> Rebellion for each cart included.
RR>
RR> Only if Llamasoft and/or Rebellion retained any contractual
RR> ownership rights to the code, which I highly doubt.
And I highly doubt that they wouldn't, if only because I would never consent
to a contract that left me no rights concerning the software I'd written for
another party.
However, I think the real reason why Atari is not likely to pack in AvP or
T2k with the Jag is that they sell quite well all on their own, and why give
away what people are willing to pay for?
