Hello Dale!

On Wednesday December 06 2006 00:01, you wrote to me:

Then I must have forgotten. I get too many messages to remember all of them.

MVDV>>> despite the fact that I have observed you to be wrong on

No. I just do not think it is worth the effort.

That message was still in my message base as it is less than three month
old. Messages are purged if they are over three month old or if there are
more than X messages in the area. X varying between 300 and 1000 depending
on area.

DS> the Soviets were building missile bases in Cuba (in the 60's)?

I can not say, I was very occupied with other things in the early sixties.

DS> There are times when evidence cannot easily be made public.

Too easy an excuse. And too easily abused as we have seen recently regarding Iraq.

MVDV>>> But I insist on there being a way for independant
MVDV>>> verification of the facts and not having to resort to just
MVDV>>> take someone's word for it.

DS> Most of the time that is a decent and scientific attitude. There
DS> are times when it is just not possible.

Nonsence. There is always a way. The only reason George Bush could not
provide evidence for the presence of WMDs in Iraq is that there weren't
any.

George Bush lied when he said said Saddam Hussein had WMDs. And only those
who accept claims as fact on authority alone fell for it. Too many
unfortunately....

DS>> I'm not sure how you jump to that conclusion. But I will not
DS>> discuss Iraq in any public forum.

MVDV>> But you cannot stop me from explaining why I bring up Iraq.

DS> You can discuss it all you want, but leave me out of it.

You have already responded, so you are already in. like it or not... ;-)

Cheers, Michiel
