Feels good, doesn't it? I've had pretty good luck with the "Teach
Youself" book that came with D3. I've been putting together some
little programs for a seminar the company is putting on in August so I
got D3 and have been doing come crunch work.
Yyou may be interested in a little printer unit I've done. It lets you
specify TextOut coordinates in inches instead of pixels, and it takes
the printer resolution into account. Thus a line printed at 1 inch
down and 1.5 inches over prints in the same place on your 300 dpi
printer as on your 1200 dpi typesetter.
Another feature is a WriteLine procedure. It keeps track of what
you've put on the page and subsequent calls work just like WriteLn on
a DOS printer (i.e.: on the next line or next page if needed). Font
size is even taken into account.
This unit is a work in progress with new features to be added but I'll
post it if you like.
