You heard of InterNet REXX? It's a /very/ versatile
FTN-via-InterNet-by-whatever-means-possible (including FTP, email, ...) and
runs on both OS/2, Windoze and DOS. Might be worth looking at. .-)

You can do as I suggested earlier, and query the PPP interface via an IOCTL
call on the stack. Quite the interface address, for example; if the
interface is not present, the call will fail. The PPP interface is normally
only present when having dialled and connected PPP (surprise). :-) I don't
remember the exact IOCTL call right here and now, but I can dig into it if
you can't find the information yourself.
