hello Carol!

Of course, somewhere one can get such glasses for sure. It is all a matter
of finding it. :) The same with the beer. Certainly there are some rather
good beers even in the USA. But here it is a bit easier.

MS>> Yeah.. and Bud light is only water, I know. :-)
MS>> But what we call beer is different, so we have no kind words for ameri
MS>> "beer".

CS> Um, Pilsner? I think that's what I've been told American beers are? They
CS> also make 'Lagers' but those arent as popular.

I am not even sure what "Lager" is exactly. Is there even a difference
between Pilsner and Lager?

btw: One has to pay attention when ordering a beer here. If you order "ein
Bier" then you get a Pils in northern Germany (in G”ttingen you still get
a Pils for instance) but order a beer in Bavaria, you might get a wheat
beer.

CS> I just know
CS> the most popular import, is Heinieken and next up I think is Corona, then
CS> possibly San Miguel. If you like Heinekien and not any USA beers, you
CS> will find that one pretty easy to get. They even sell it at 7-11.

I only know Heineken of those and yes, one can get it about everywhere. :)
Still I haven't drunk it in a long time. Not even sure if I like it. But I
am not so picky. I only really realise the difference of those various
beers if I drink them in succession. Not so long ago I started the evening
with Becks draught and continued with Becks from the bottle and then
Flensburger. That was all downhill. :)

Ciao,
Malte!
