As has been indicated in a previous message that the cleat should be 
positoned with the help of a plumb line dangling just below the knee cap down 
intercepting the spindle of the peddle. This will determine where the cleat 
should be under the shoe.Modifications to this is okay if it it will stop 
numbness. Modifications should be in millimetres.
