Does anyone know the history of why the guitar solos on the original Let it
Be album and the single are different? I much prefer the album version, it
being so in your face and all. It sounds like the album version was the
original, because you can still hear remnants of the same guitar sound later
in the song as it appears on the album version. It's as if they overdubbed a
more muted (and also less musically appealing) solo for the single.
