Just leave lots of time at the checkin side at the airport.  Takes a bit to 
travel to some countries, USA being one of them.  Yes, I have to go through the

line too with my passport .  I also distinctly remember being fingerprinted 
when I got my passport, but I was doing other things at the same time and it 
may not have been related directly.

I'm military so had to do other things the normal folks dont but I did hear 
they fingerprint now? Had to do that some other place once when traveling.  
Sorry, I misremember the airport it was other than it was Asia (never been to 
Europe).  That one seemed more related to me traveling on official orders than 
anything else.  Thats ok, I've been fingerprinted many times.  Have to do it 
again soon as part of my security clearance update. No biggie to me but some 
people object to it.
