BV> Hmmm...Strange...MSC v5.1 and Visual C++ 1.5 both barf on PKTJOIN
PE> MSC 5.1 is not a conforming implementation.

True, but what about Visual C++ 1.5 ne: MSC 8.0 ?

PE> Try MSC 7.0, which I thought you had?

Yeah, on 78 floppies and 65 patch disks :)

PE> MSC 6.0 I don't think is fully conforming, but it compiled it anyway.

Or perhaps it has the same non-conforming bugs :)

BV> For starters there is no definition for EXIT_SUCCESS or EXIT_FAILURE
PE> They are in the standard, and in MSC 6.0 too.

Not in MSC 5.1 or MSC 8.0 :)

BV> Then there is a minor problem with the way you have prototyped trav
BV> in TRAV.H The function definition itself in TRAV.C is okay and if
BV> you used the same style in TRAV.H it would be okay.
PE> Not a problem in 6.0. However, in OZPD I have changed trav.h to
PE> be the same as trav.c. I don't know how long ago I changed that.

'salrite, I think I have a very early version.

BV> Then there is a minor problem with all of your findfirst() etc. stuff.
PE> MSC 6.0 is polluting the namespace with the word "MSDOS".
PE> Add "-UMSDOS" to the command line to get rid of it.

I know how to get rid of it, I just wanted to give you a hard time :)

BV> But other than that, you are probably correct :)
BV> Oh...I think there are a few type conversions or casts required too :)
PE> The conversions will only produce warnings.

Tehehehe...slack Paul :)

BV> But HEY, I'm not complaining :)
PE> Well you should be - about MSC 5.1. Get a REAL compiler!

ROFL...that fits on one 360k floppy ? Are you for real ? :)

PE> You haven't been able to buy MSC 5.1 for something like 5 years.

Yep, something like that. It's still a good one for quick and
dirties though.

PE> Try a later version please! BFN. Paul.

ROFL... You sound just like Mickey$oft tech support Paul :)

Visual C++ 1.5 professional is the latest MSC available unless you count
the Visual C++ 2.0 which is due for release next month or any day real
soon now. :)
