JM> Modem init string ATS0=0Q0E1X4^M~~~AT&C1M1^M
JM> Modem hangup string ^#~~~+++~~~ATH0^M~
JM>From what you describe I am thinking along the lines of incorrect
JM>hangup between calls, causing problem dialling another number??
JM>The fact that you can dial okay from Terminal, suggests a setup
JM>problem with Dial.
JM>I can't comment on the USR Sportster, as I use a Maestro.
JM>Good talking to you
In My Case (Since ICan't Comment On Earls), I Can Turn On My
Computer, Go Straight From Dos (Or Windows 3.1, Don't Matter) And The
First Number I Try To Dial From The Dial Window, Might Or Might Not
Dial.... Sometimes It Might Work Perfectly, Dialing All Five Of The
Regular BBS's I Call All In A Row, Other Times It Might Take Me 10-15
Tries To Get 2 Or 3 Of Them..... Since It Was Mentioned I Have Tried
Terminal Mode And It Has So Far (Knock On Wood) Worked... Gets A Little
Tiresome Typing Out Each Number Though....
Other Then That Slight Bug, I Find Tm Very Easy To Use And
Setup. Some Other Sound Card Support For The Alarms Might Be Nice... All
The Copies I've Had, Will Only Support Adlib Cards... Ie Always Looks
For An Adlib Sound Device Driver..... Oh Well Small Price... (Guess I
Realy Should Check That Out OnThis One Eh? )
