My best suggestion is STILL to drive it and learn about it.  Mini's have
peculiarities of their own, strong points and some NOT so strong.  You
and it will need some time to learn each other's best qualities.
In other words changing IT is not as important as learning to live with
what it does best.  You have the rest of your life to learn the Mini.
It has only as long as you GIVE it to learn you.
