Thank you for your validation. Speaking of old music, I saw
the "Yardbirds" at the Milwaukee Zoo last night. Rather an
enjoyable show, but as it'd been raining and cold we didn't
stick around for the "Animals". I was mainly curious to see
what "original members" were touring this summer anyhow...
In the Yardbirds' case, Jim McCarty and Chris Dreja filled
the drum and rhythm guitar spots in the lineup... The singer
did a passable Keith Relf impression in addition to bass guitar,
which required another guy to play harmonica and tambourine.
As a harp player he was a little too good to be authentic, but
what the heck. And the lead guitarist was of high copyband quality.
ObProg: I heard Horslips' "The Man Who Built America" on the radio
driving home from the zoo...
