not to put too fine a point on it or anything, but how is the average
person supposed to know a warning is a hoax if no one has told them yet?
these are the conferences where such information could be found so these
are the conferences i would expect to see such inquiries and postings..

you should suggest to those conference users that not everyone knows as
much as they do and that ignorance is a fact of life that they'll have
to live with...
further, if they really don't like seeing such messages they could
contribute to the education of the masses so that fewer people will be
duped but such nonsense...
blaming the ignorant for their ignorance in general is as bad as blaming
the victem of a computer virus for his/her own infection...
if these conferences aren't here for the spread of information (and thus
the dispelling of ignorance) what are they here for?
