Hi, Paul. I don't know if you're reading Z3Tech these days, so I copied this for you. The lines will be horribly wrapped by the time you see them, I'm afraid. Interesting... Regards, FIM. SL>Anybody out there interested in TELETEXT.....? SL>Last night (well this morning actually) I spotted something interesting on SL>channel 10 up here in brisbane. SL>±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±± It was on TELETEXT Page 100: SL>± HOLD NETWORK TEN 2:06:23 3:09 ± SL>± ± The numbers on the top are the SL>± ST.TIME EVENT TITLE BREAK DUR SRC± Station Time (ST.TIME) and a SL>± 1:56:10 BK 1 2:30 CAP± count-down timer which indicates SL>± :58:40 KID 2 10:52 VD ± the time till the next event. SL>± 2:09:32 BK 2 2:30 CAP± SL>± 2:12:02 KID 3 9:22 VD ± The line immediately below the SL>± 2:21:24 BK 3 2:30 CAP± "ST.TIME" is the last event and SL>± 2:23:54 KID 4 15:27 VD ± is coloured green (on black). SL>± 2:39:21 BK 4 2:30 CAP± SL>± 2:41:51 KID 5 8:04 VD ± The next line (without the "hour SL>± 2:49:55 BK 5 2:30 CAP± is the current event and this is SL>± 2:52:25 KID 6 17:46 VD ± coloured white SL>on red (whole line). SL>± 3:10:11 BK 6 2:30 CAP± SL>± 3:12:41 KID 7 8:16 VD ± The following line is the next SL>± 3:20:57 ============== SB :50 CAP± event and is coloured yellow (on SL>± 3:21:47 PSYCH-OUT 14:36 VC ± black). SL>± 3:36:23 BK 1 2:00 CAP± SL>± 3:38:23 OUT 2 11:45 VC ± All the other "event" lines are SL>± 3:50:08 BK 2 2:00 CAP± coloured white on black. SL>± 3:52:08 OUT 3 8:24 VC ± SL>± *** End of DOS *** ± In this case "events" titled: SL>± ± - "KID" means a movie called SL>± ± "PK and the Kid" SL>± À [ 100 ] 255 255 255 ± - "OUT" means a movie called SL>±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±±± "Psych-Out" SL>When going from a Programme to a Commercial, then count-down timer will SL>actually count FORWARD to "0:05+" before the page is updated. But when SL>going from Commercial to Programme, the page is updated immediately the SL>count-down timer reaches "0:00". SL>When the page updates, all "event" lines simply move up one line. SL>"BK n" means Commercial Break and the number shows which break it is. SL>"name n" means the name of the Programme and number shows which segment it i SL>"SB" means Station Break, the Staion ID comes on and maybe a Commercial too SL>I think "SRC" means the source of the Vision. SL>Think "VC" & "VD" probably refer to Video machines `C' & `D'. SL>I'm not sure about "CAP", perhaps Computer Assisted Play-back or something? SL>Below is an ANSI pic showing exactly what it looked like...
