Go on Paul, apply your mind to what was being discussed and realise that
we were discussing workarounds for the fact that 4D came later and that
there is still some software in use out there which cant handle it. So
remaps are useful. And have no downside at all, so whats the big deal ?

And that if at all possible things as important as mail should fail safe,
not just toss exceptions into black holes.
