subject: cout Thanks!/Watcom?

Just wanted to say thanks to all who helped me figure out how to
overload the put-to operator. Along with the examples and some of
borlands online help I got it working out.
I had a bit of a HDD crash on my mail machine though, so I no longer
have the messages that helped me, but the two that i used source
from was from Cliff Rhodes and Kurt Kuzba. of course the messages
from the three or four others helped much as well, thanks to all.
However I lost all the messages about the watcom compiler, and I really
didn't get to read them
If anyone can help me out, my problem was that I needed a DOS based
C++ Compiler, I tried TC++ 3.0, but it was not 100% ANSI C++ but Instead
AT&T 2.0 or something. I heard about Watcomm C and something called
DJGPP or something. The major requirments for what I need is that its
ANSI C++, will compiler for DOS, and if it has a nice DOS based IDE that
is a plus, but I can probably use other editors if necessary.
thanks!
