PE>> It would help if Squish only did the remap to names going to the PE>> BBS address instead of to the point addresses. I put a message PE>> in TUB about that but didn't get a reply. RS> You say these things so damned cryptically. If you are saying that RS> you cant currently just add the point address to an incoming netmail RS> which has the point address missing, then IMO the only sensible RS> approach is to continue to do the remapping you have done in the past RS> an hope squish is enhanced. Basically because those relatively remote RS> possibilitys you list are rather less serious than netmail ending up RS> in a black hole. PE> The thing is that squish remaps a message to "Rod Speed" to PE> 3:711/934.2, whether the message was sent to 3:711/934, 3:711/934.1, PE> 3:711/934.3, 3:711/934.4 etc etc, understand? I cant see the problem, I dont give a damn if someone fucks up the address so badly that the wrong point number is used. In fact thats fine by me, no valid reason to send it to the wrong address, that may be someone who doesnt bother to pick up his PKTs or something. Makes heaps more sense to send them to me whatever address is used. --- PQWK202* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
