Hello Roy. 14 Dec 06 13:22, you wrote to me: RW> That still doesn't address the fact that your nodelisted phone number RW> was disconnected. Fair enough. I can agree that it was a mistake on my part. I should have acted more quickly resolve the problem or zeroed out my number per the Z1C instructions. However, I believe the lag time did not exceed more than a few weeks before I did zero out the number. MB>> R19 has listed several at least a few other nodes since around MB>> the time you relocated. RW> RINs? We have already discussed this; R19 nets provide adequate coverage for all of R19. RW> That's why we see all of the dialup internet businesses out of RW> business now. Everybody has access to the internet via other RW> means...Yeah, right. I worked in the ISP business before. Many small to medium sized providers no longer directly provide dial up services; they have started outsourcing it to the telcos as more people turn to broadband. Given this may vary, area to area, the trend is apparent nonetheless. RW> That's no excuse for having a disconnected POTS .. See above. RW> Uh huh. You can chose to believe what ever you wish. It is not my place or desire to try to convince you. All that matters is that when you did finally express an interest to join the region, it was handled promptly, just like I stated it would.
