Hello again Lee. I'd really appreciate some clarification on that last
comment. In all the years that I have been studying the Bible -- four decades
-- I have never heard or read of Jews crucifying other Jews. Stoning to death,
yes, but never crucifixion.

In fact, in the Bible, when Pilate asked the Jewish leaders why they couldn't
just put Jesus to death themselves, guess how they responded? Check this out:

"Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law.
The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to
death:" (John 18:31, KJV)

It was, of course, a rather hypocritcal response, being as they apparently had
no qualms with stoning prostitutes, etc. I think the real issue here is that
they wanted Pilate to do their dirty work for them.

Anyway, my point stands. I've never heard or read of Jews using crucifixion.
