       We have two dogs, three cats, and fifteen birds. The summer hasn't
been a problem for birds so far, thank goodness.  In years past when the
four legged critters have had fleas the birds have shown no sign of any 
flea problem. It might help that the critters are pretty much kept seperate
and the birds are up of the floor. I also think the way the birds groom 
the would pretty much take care of any flea the dared to get on them.
       The biggest problem is flea bombing the house. Have to move the 
whole crew outside for a few hours. Then clean the house good. The birds
love the sunshine and gardenhose shower on those days.
       In short I would not worry to much about the fleas.
