JT> Dear T'Kaat, [btw what does that mean?]
When I was first asked to pick a name to use on bulletin boards, I had been
reading a lot of Star Trek paperbacks. I was in my big chair and had three
cats on me. So, I knew it had to have something to do with cats, and I
thought about what I liked in Star Trek. To honor the Vulcan tradition, I
decided to put a T' on the front. T'Cat didn't look right. I thought about
Romulan society and changed the C to a K, giving me T'Kat. Not good enough.
Then I considered Klingon custom and put a double A in the middle. If it were
properly pronounced you would hear a soft cough between the a's, but human
throats don't do that easily. :) You asked.

This is a very good way to be. It is one of my grandmother's ways that I
could agree with. She made everything... My dad is a lot like her, too.
He was always working on something. Now, I do a lot of different crafts,
and
I prefer to make my own things, if I can.
