| subject: | IPX for OS/2 |
Hello Haavard! HM> Is it possible to use the IPX.SYS (or VIPX.SYS) shipped by OS/2 Warp HM> Connect in any OS/2 app? HM> I mean, how can I access IPX in an OS/2 Textmode session in the same HM> way as from DOS. Thanks *any* help. Novell offers a Developers Kit for this purpose. You can access some lib's and headers on ftp:ftp.novell.com, maybe directory /pub/??/04 ? difficult to find and even more difficult to find the most recent working one... It seems Novell started to write a 32 Bit API but never finished, so most parts of the Requester an specialy the IPX/SPX part are good old 16 Bit Code. Bye/2, Johannes!
