This is driving me nuts!!!! Here's the scoop: 1. I want to use my home pc for TCP/IP dialup internet connection. (No problem, got this working.) 2. I want to use my home PC to dial up my work. They use Dials software with an 8235 dial in server. I got this working.... somewhat. I don't quite get what I am supposed to install for sure and I think I have a lot of extra junk I don't need. They mention Lan Requester but that is not an install option in Warp 4. What should I install? I know I need Netbios & 802.2 protocols attached to the Dials virtual network adapter. 3. My second employer runs a Win95 peer to peer lan. I want to dial into this lan. How do I set this up? I don't see any "host" type setting for the Win95 machines. As a matter of fact I tried the other way around and I can't get their machine to connect to mine. (I installed the Lan Distance product on my machine and told it to answer all calls.) I have both my machine and the Win95 system with "Workgroup" domain. What type of network should be selected for the Win95 dialer? I am lost! :-( Please help! ... * KWQ/2 1.2i * I'm an OS/2 developer...I don't NEED a life! --- MsgToss 2.0d(best) 02/21/93* Origin: JW-PC DataFlex.OS2 (608)274-9785 Team OS/2 (1:121/8) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/99 270/101 620/243 625/155 711/401 413 430 934 712/311 407 SEEN-BY: 712/505 506 517 623 624 704 713/317 800/1 @PATH: 121/8 106/2000 396/1 270/101 712/624 711/934 |
