Unless some people are still using older software, most (if not all)
current stuff appears to handle 4D addressing OK, so presumably this is
mainly for those dorks who address netmail incorrectly by omitting the
point suffix.

In that case, perhaps you should impress upon Paul the importance of
leaving his remapping algorithm intact.  |-)
