I got that cable TV special on DVD I suppose, it came as an extra with a 50s 
anthology 3 CD box, TelSell stuff. The credits say "Blue Suede Shoes - a 
Rockabilly Session with Carl Perkins and Friends".

The credits show a 1986 copyright, no information where & what. CP is backed 
by the Dave Edmunds Band and guests include Harrison, Starr and Clapton. 
Ringo sings "Honey don't", George sings "Everybody's trying
to be my Baby".

Special moment: George and Carl sit on barstools, have a chat and CP shows 
how he worked out copying Les Paul's echo effects without any gadgets, just 
great guitar playing technique.

Excellent sound, good performances, smiling faces all around: well worth 
tracking down.
