I've always had reservations about Palin's superficiality but that really
has nothing to do with conservative credentials which I don't have but do
understand.  It was reported here that she had cost the GOP more votes than
she attracted to the party but who knows.

Incidentally, the most recent stuff posted by Charles Herriot I have been
able to find is 2003 and I'm still looking for an email address.
