You're not wrong there!  :-)  Even to the extent that they think
that it's better to use something that does a sort AND a join,
to get around the problems that occur just doing a join!  Mind
boggling.  The only "bug", which isn't even a bug, is that I
did assume the packets were valid (ie had x'0000' to terminate
them).  And since the packets are coming directly from my
system, I'm waiting to see someone try to claim that ludicrosity.
