| subject: | Dynamically calculating dialog coordinates |
Who knows how to create a dialog with position and size dependant on the current display resolution? When the dialog is created from a resource script, its dimensions are automatically adjusted, but what can I do, if - for certain reasons - the dialog cannot be defined within a resource? If I choose fixed values for one resolution (e.g. 800x600), the dialog will look absolutely disordered with a resolution of 1024x768. What I need is a means to determine the necessary scaling factor that the fixed values must be multiplied with (i.e. the relation of display units to dialog units).
