Winmodems ARE the work of the devil. I know now why they never wrote any
linux drivers for them. Linux users were too smart to go for the useless shit
they were flogging off called "modems".
Claiming the virtues of letting your processor take some of the modem load.
The bastards couldn't get the protocols right in hardware, what chance did they
have in software?
