I finally broke down and bought a heat gun (embossing tool)
after I caught my paper on fire holding it over the burner
on the gas stove a couple times! Got my fingers burnt the
last time, too! hehehe!
The heat gun is neat...it blows heat out onto the embossing
powder and it works so fast. But you have to be careful
not to blow on any one spot too long, or the powder will
melt down and it won't be embossed, just flat and it will
turn it an ugly color instead of the one it's supposed to
be.
I have also scorched paper when my attention was distracted
from what I was doing and I held the heat gun on one spot
too long, so I have to be careful not to look away even for
a second. I'm too easily distracted anyhow, so that's good
mental exercise for me!
LadyBear Hugs,
Wendy
