Not yet. Not in this country anyway. Look at some of the major inernational
sporting events where tobacco companies are the primary sponsors of some of the
teams/players.

Some of events televised from other countries have their sponsors' names
obscoured because there, it's _completely_ outlawed.

Here in australia, the govt. is still rolling in tax from tobacco, so it'll
never be outlawed till they can either work out how to make money out of other
means, or all smokers die out and there's no new young smokers to take their place.

Just like the laws for growing your own 'normal' tobacco are often more
strict than growing your own whaky tabbaccy.
Why do you think many of the pollies are pushing for legalisation of grass?
They can finally make some money out of it- where at the moment, all they're
gaining are a few minor political points from getting rid of it.

But money is more important than political points, so it'll eventually
happen. The only _other_ people pushing for this are drug users, who are so
far brain damaged they can't tell the differenece, it's the drug _pushers_ that
are silent, because they know their profit margins will end up being nothing
more than smoke blowing out of their windows.
