Not to worry. I really do understand such. I might regale folks with my
escapades 'on high' but I do go up because I just am the stubborn type who
thinks it's wrong to 'order' one of my junior guys to do something they are
genuinely scared to do. You can tell when you see the 'stiff upper lip and
dialted pupils' and guy llooks like a 5YO being forced to say 'there is no
Santa (knowing he'll get no toys that year). Uh, no.
I get scared on a 40ft ladder just propped against a wall. I do _not_ get
scared suspended upside down from a rope 20 feet from a yardarm that is 200ft
up or more (but i do check the rope and attachment first like any sane person
would!).

Well, we know we lost one sysop, one of his brothers, and his wife and son. For
the rest of the people, 'presumed lost' is now dead for the adults. Children
may have been 'adopted' but some so young, even they do not know, nor ever will
possibly.
Western ethic is 'have to find a body'. Eastern isnt quite the same. They
move on, not that there is much choice in the matter.
