Just adding to Rods comments,

Need also to specify which type of C128-D, as the plastic-cased one has
different roms to the metal-cased one.

In the case of the C64 C, one needs to be quite specific when ordering
it, right down to the serial # and including the single digit letter at
the end of the serial #. If its what is referred to as an 'E' board,
it will have a 28 pin rom, instead of the more common 24 pin, and its
always soldered to the board. CBM must have finally got their act
together with chip shortages with this model ( the last?) as I've seen
many of them, and never a socket to be seen. Damn!
